Review: Realm Of Shadows

Realm Of Shadows Realm Of Shadows by Shannon Drake
My rating: 4 of 5 stars

Traveling back to a little town outside of Paris to visit her grandfather, Tara just did not know what she was getting in to. She did not believe her grandfathers fantastic stories of vampires but when a murder takes places and strange things start happening she has to quickly figure out just who she can trust. She might just have to rely on one of the creatures of the night.

The detective was quick to give up information about the five other missing people.

Tara is extremely stubborn when she gets an idea into her head. It seems to be a common theme with the heroines in drakes novels. Tara seems quite calm for someone that was just in the vicinity or a murderer.

The heroes of Drake's novels seem quite sure of themselves. I'm not sure if it is just with this series or that they are vastly older and therefore more assured of themselves.

In this book I was having problems with all of the different view points and shifts in character. It happened in the other books but I was not as distracted by it as much.
