I
really think that the only reason I sort of liked this short story was
that it added more information to the Dark-Hunters series as a whole. I
know it is only a short story but the plot seemed to be lacking somewhat
and the characters, even for a short story, seemed highly
underdeveloped and I did not really like either one of them. Dragonswan
is about a scholar named Channon MacRea that is studying an ancient
Dragon Tapestry. She seems to sense a special connection with it and an
underlying meaning in the supposed mythology. Sebastian appears one
night; unbeknownst to her, Sebastian is a dragon himself, who holds the
mysteries of the tapestry. The story seems to end really abruptly and
the conflict is resolved far to quickly, I think this might have been a
better story if she had actually turned it into a full-blown novel.
