Review: Crown of Midnight

Since assassin Celaena Sardothien won a brutal contest to become the king's Champion her life has been one of deception. Celaena's loyalties are not to the crown but she has to walk a very thin line to ensure she survives. Keeping up her charade becomes increasingly difficult, especially when facing Chaol and Prince Dorian.

I was very happy for Celeana. She grew a lot in this book and was able to open herself up more. I also liked Chaol and Dorian more as characters. I was blown away by the revelation at the end.
(view spoiler)[I am very happy that Fleetfoot is still among the living. Typically in my reading experience once the heroine gets an animal it is more likely than not to be deceased by the end or next book. I am overjoyed to see that this has not been the case... yet (hide spoiler)]
