A Court of Wings and Ruin by Sarah J. Maas
My rating: 4 of 5 stars
As Feyre returns to the Spring Court she finds her deception and information gathering harder then expected. With the threat looming, her very enemy practically comes knocking at the door. When trust is something that is hard to give, the battle might be that much harder to win.
Out of the three books so far this was the most emotional one for me. I got to know all of the characters and connect with them. I did not want any of their stories to end. One thing that really bugged me was (view spoiler)[ how easily the Weaver died. She was portrayed as a frightful terror of a being that was so powerful she had to be contained for the safety of everyone else still in the world. I thought her death was not done very well. (view spoiler)[I admit, I teared up for Rhys' battle speech (hide spoiler)]
