Trust issues arise as Mark continues to communicate with his ex-wife, while Kat hides a questionable friendship. Unbeknownst to each other, they both harbor a powerful secret from the past that threatens to disrupt their fragile relationship.
The beginning of this book started out really enticing. It did keep me on the edge of my seat most of the time. I felt that the ending really fell flat from the build-up of the first part of the story.
